3D print and vacuum casting
As precise technologies as possible are necessary for the needs of production and new part development. We therefore selected a 3D print method thanks to which we are able to produce a part by applying layers with a minimum thickness of 0.25 mm. We use vacuum casting for the production of silicon molds. This method is able to produce prototypes of materials based on polyurethane precisely simulating all industrial plastics and elastic rubbers.
3D print and vacuum casting
Original FDM technology is used for 3D print. Based on a 3D model, a part is printed from ABSplus by applying thin precise yarns with a thickness of 0.25 mm or 0.33 mm in individual layers.
We also have vacuum casting technology for the production of silicon molds and subsequent casting of parts using this technology. In this way, we are able to produce prototypes of materials based on polyurethane precisely simulating all industrial plastics and elastic rubbers.
The lifetime of a silicon mold is estimated at 20 – 30 cycles depending on the character and complexity of the product.
We use all these technologies to support our development projects and offer them as a service to external customers.
